Get to Know Me!

Hi there! I'm Melanie Kaibel, a former elementary school teacher turned homeschool mom and tutor, but at my core, I'll always be a teacher at heart.  Teaching isn't just what I do-It's who I am.

After many years in the classroom, i transitioned into a role as a literacy consultant, working alongside teachers to implement strategies that reach all learners.  But after seven years in that role, my heart led me home--to teach my own children and begin our homeschool journey.  At the time, my boys were in kindergarten, third grade, and fifth grade.  Homeschooling gave me the opportunity to meet each of them exactly where they were, providing individualized learning that honored their strenths, supported their challenges, and ignited a love for learning in a way that fit them best.

As I watched them thrive, I realized how many other familes longed for the same -- personalized learning that meets children where they are while supporting their unique needs.  That's why I created Elevate Tutoring--to help familes by offering customized learning programs that build both confidence and academic skills.

I use research-based strategies and curricula to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences.  Whether through books, games, art or hands-on exploration, I make learning fund, interactive, and relevant.  Becuase learning isn't just about passing tests--It's about unlocking a lifelong love for discovery.

But I also know learning isn't always easy.  When my youngest son was a diagnosed with dyslexia, ourjourney shifted.  I saw firsthand what it feels like when a bright child struggles to show what they know.  I immersed myself in learning everything I could-- working alongside therapists, studying how the neurodivergent braing processes information, and applying evidence-based methods to help him succeed.

Now, I bring that same heart, knowledge, and dedication to every student I work with--whether they need support in reading, math, homework help, or specialized dyslexia intervention.  Helping children with learning differences has become my passion and purpose.  I truly believe every child can succeed--with the right approach, the right support, and someone who believes in them.

I would be honored to be that support for your child.

"The climb of learning may be challenging, but every step elevates a child to new heights.  The view from the summit makes it all worthwhile."
